  1. Soldering & de-soldering wires and components. List the precautions to be taken.
  2. Sketch the front panels of Laboratory equipments such as RPS, CRO, Multi-meter, Signal Generator and other lab equipments. List their functions.
  3. Identify Passive Components:
    1. Given colour bands/symbols, find the value,
    2. Given the value, find the colour band.
  4. Familiarise with the use of Multi-meters – Analog and Digital. Discuss the precautionary measures to be taken while using it.
  5. Compare the values of Resistors using colour code and Measurement method.

  6. Measure AC and DC Voltages
  7. Calculate frequency using CRO
  8. Study of different wire gauges for single phase and three phase supply
