1. Principles of Drafting and Cutting on Kraft Paper
2. Principles of Drafting and Cutting on Material
3. Study of different types of paper pattern

Block pattern, individual pattern , graded pattern and bought pattern.

UNIT II

TECHNICAL TERMS, SYSTEM OF CUTTING 4hrs

1. Study of technical Terms –Scye Depth, Neck height, Construction lines, Gusset, waist line, Chest line, Inlay, Reinforcement, Lining, Interlining, Braid, Placket, Shrinking,
2. System of cutting – height system, breast system, Scale system
3. Measurement Chart of Girls Garments reflected in unit IV for the age group of from five to ten years

1. Sleeves Zabla and Panty
2. A Line Frock with sailor Collar, Sleeveless.
3. Body Frock with Plain Sleeves, Square Neckline
4. Yoke Frock with Round neck and Frills, Puff Sleeves , half back open
5. Low waist Frilled frock with two step frills, Round neck with piping, Decorate with frills for the body part, belt at waist
6. Umbrella frock -Boat neck, umbrella sleeves, belt at waist, skirt finishing with piping
7. Flared Frock—bell Sleeves or flare sleeves, peter pan collar
8. Uniform Blouse with Open collar-Tie collar, Plain sleeves

UNIT V

DETAIL STUDY OF BELOW WAIST GIRLS GARMENTS 6Hrs
