Few Suggested Student activities-

Example 1

  1. Do a market survey on Memory ICs, ADC & DAC ICs, Display devices, different microprocessors and collect the following information like make, comparisons, specifications, Price, etc. The student should submit a handwritten report. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  2. Take Quiz tests / assignments on topics in Microprocessors. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  3. Do a power point presentation on current topics in Display / Memory. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  4. Visit YouTube or any other sites on A/D and D/A converters. Listen to the lectures and submit a handwritten report and a soft copy (CD/DVD)

Example 2

  1. Do two or three programs using 8085 program simulator software and submit a report
  2. Simulate using a software a A/D converter circuit and record the readings
  3. Report on the applications of LEDs and LCDs in day to day life
  4. Report on the importance of Operating system in computers
  5. Report on the Architecture of Latest processors
