Few Suggested Student activities-

Example 1

  1. Do Market survey on Transducers available in the market and collect the following information like name of the transducer, comparisons, specifications, Price etc. The student should submit a handwritten report. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  2. Take Quiz tests / assignments in topics of Industrial Instrumentation-1. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  3. Do a power point presentation on current topics in Industrial Instrumentation. Documents have to be maintained as a record.
  4. Visit YouTube or any other sites on current topics in Industrial Instrumentation. Listen to the lectures and submit a handwritten report and a soft copy (CD/DVD)

Example 2

  1. Visit Mechanical department and study the working of venture meter and submit the report
  2. In process lab see the temperature measuring instruments and write their specification and submit the report
  3. Visit a nearby process industry and submit a report on the Instrumentation devices and its applications

Note:-The student shall do any one topic in Example-1 and any one topic in Example-2 mentioned above for the purpose of assessment. The questions set for assessment should be out come based keeping in mind the analytical and creative skills
