Computerization of Aircraft Maintenance. Basic data maintained with computerization:
Main Schedule. Component Service life as applicable to that maintenance. Parts Catalogue with illustration. Work Card Reference. List of authorized modification and their implications. Existing Technical orders and Service Instructions. Details of Flying hours for that Aircraft. Condition of information like – Mechanics, Work areas, Flight destination detail etc.

UNIT V: QUALITY, STANDARDS AND STATISTICS 08 Hrs

  • Each student should do any one of the following type activity or similar activity related to the course and before take up, get it approved from concerned Teacher and HOD.
  • Each student should conduct different activity and no repeating should occur
  • Report to be hand written with 500 words
    1. Each student will give an activity to prepare Comparative statement, Placing the purchase order with necessary terms and conditions
    2. Each student will give an activity to visit local municipality garbage plant, how the garbage has been segregated. List the harmful effects of your local garbage dump yard on the nearby environment
    3. Visit a nearby industry, make a report on TPM put in practice and various chart they are using in work place
    4. Visit a nearby industry, make a report on quality system put in practice and quality tools they are using in work place
    5. Visit a nearby industry, or airport and make a report on various safety practices and precautions they are using.
