4. INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENTS AND LIFE SKILLS 15HRS
The students will perform ANY ONE of the following activities individually (other similar activities maybe considered) in both the section
A. INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENTS
- Collecting problems of farmers in the local area & develop solutions.
- Study of milk packaging system.
- Survey of oils used for different agricultural equipments- specifications, properties, costs, manufacturers names etc.
- Collection ofsoil samples and preparing a test report.
- Visit to Jaggery unit and make a report on its processing.
- Visit the poultry farming and collect the data.
- Visit Dairy unit and make a report on it.
- Surveythe types of farming systems adopted in your locality.
- Prepare the plan layout of orchard
- Make a note on mechanization in harvesting
- Draw a jig or fixtures showing various features like locating clamping, fool proofing etc.
