3. YARN TESTING:<\/h4>\n

Concept of count, its measurement by different methods. Concepts of S & Z twist, relation between tpi, twist multiplier and count. Measurement of tpi, name and brief introduction of various twist measuring machines.
\nImportant definitions pertaining to tensile strength,
\nprinciples of CRL and CRT, tensile testers, factors affecting the strength materials, brief study of tensile testing machines, concept of RKM and CSP.\n<\/p>\n

Define various test parameters of fabric, their importance and role in fabric and end product properties.

    5. Determine the twist of yarn per inch\/per meter in double yarn and its individual components by continuous twist tester and twist and untwist tester.<\/li>\n
    6. Findout the hank of sliver and roving with the aid of wrap block machine.<\/li>\n
    7. Find the staple length of fibre by Bare Sorter.<\/li>\n
    8. Measure fibre fineness by flowing air through a sample of fibre by micronaire.<\/li>\n
    9. Find out lea strength of cotton yarn by lea strength tester (Power driven) and CSP.<\/li>\n
    10. Find the breaking strength of cotton yarn by Ballistic strength testing machine.<\/li>\n
    11. To find the breaking strength and elongation of single thread of cotton by single thread testing machine (Hand or pwoer driven).<\/li>\n
    12. Examine the bursting stength of a fabric by bursting strength tester.<\/li>\n
    13. Find out the relative abrasion properties of fabrics by Martindale abrasion tester.<\/li>\n
    14. Find the breaking strength of different textile fabrics by means of cloth strength tester (power driven).<\/li>\n
