Rationale:<\/h4>\n

The purpose of this course is to train the students to learn
\nworking in factory situations under supervision of factory
\nstaff and polytechnic staff. The whole department faculty
\nshould be deputed for this purpose.
\nHead of faculty should procure seats for giving summer
\ntraining for students with the assistance of Director, Board
\nof Apprenticeship Training.
\nA small project like study of material handling system,
\nPlant layout study, Inventory control, Work study, Process
\ncontrol rejection and rework study, Inspection system and
\nQuality control, etc. may be alloted.\n<\/p>\n

FIELD EXPOSURE – I<\/h4>\n

Mechanical Engg. students after First year exam. will
\nundergo a two week Industrial Exposure, (in small scale units
\natleast) aranged and supervised by the iunstitute staff. They
\nmay try their hands on simple tools and machines and will
\nincorporate following points in their reports.<\/p>\n
