4 weeks structured and supervised, branch specific, task oriented
\nindustrial\/field exposure to be organised during summer vacation after
\nIV Sem. examination. Student will submit a report. There will be 60
\nmarks industrial exposure. These marks will be awarded by project examiner
\nin the VI Semester.(Examination marks : 40, Sess. marks : 20 ).\n<\/p>\n

FIELD EXPOSURE<\/h4>\n

4 weeks structured, supervised, branch specific, task
\noriented industrial\/field exposure to be organised during
\nsummer vacation after second year annual examination.
\nThe student during the vacational training must
\nundertake training in any one of the following.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. MANUFACTURE OF CABINATE AND ALLIED FITTINGS<\/li>\n

    To study and record drawings, moulds and internal sheet metal fittings of various instruments, records and monitors in a manufacturing unit.<\/p>\n

  2. To study and record procedure with drawings for testing and repair of under ground cable fault with the list of material.<\/li>\n
  3. To observe the effect of unsymmetrical loading and variation in symmetrical components with remedy in a power system.<\/li>\n
  4. To study flow diagram of process parameters. The training should also incorporate maintenance and repair of process instruments. Specifications of process instruments should also be recorded.<\/li>\n
  5. To study the effect of proportional, integral and derivative control in a flow process. To observe the working of Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical controllers in a system and to practice control techniques.<\/li>\n
  6. To handle various control components and to look after\/repair and maintain these components.<\/li>\n
  7. To check the accuracy of various gauges and to calibrate gauges with the help of dead weight tester or otherwise.<\/li>\n
  8. To study the working and maintenance of valves, actuators and final control elements in a process control system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
