\nQuarrying:Terminology used in quarrying;basic principles
\ninvolved,methods of quarrying. Blasting:where used,
\nprinciples of blasting,line of least resistance,
\ndrilling of holes ( manually and mechanicallly ),
\ncharging, tamping,firing,fuses and detonators,safety
\nprecautions,common explosives only names, their uses
\nand storage. Wedging:where used, tools required and
\noperation of wedging. Stone crushing: process &
\nequipment used, crushers, grinding mills like hammer
\nmill,ball mill & screens.Availability, characteristics
\nand uses of the following stones:
\nGranite, sandstone, limestone, dolomite, slate, basalt,
