Four weeks structured and supervised, branch specific, task oriented
\nindustrial\/field exposure to be organised After IV Semester. Student
\nwill submit a report. Thre will be 55 marks for this exposure. 40 marks
\nwill be awarded by project examiner in the VI Semester and 15 Marks by
\nInternal Examiner.\n<\/p>\n

INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE AND VISIT<\/h4>\n

Four Weeks structured and supervised,branch specific, task oriented industrial\/field exposure to be organised during sumeer vaction
\nThe student durinng the vactional traning must undertake traning in at least any one of the following.\n<\/p>\n

1. Topographical Map :<\/h4>\n

2. Construction of multistory Framed structure:<\/h4>\n

The construction of different componts of the framed structure foundation (pile, raft etc.) Beams, colomns, slab. basement, ducts ( lifts & services).\n<\/p>\n

3. Construction of Water Suply & Sever Line :<\/h4>\n

The process of laying water suply and sewer pipe lines at a proper gradjent and different method of pipe joints.\n<\/p>\n

4. Construction of over Head Tanks ;<\/h4>\n

5. Construction of Irrigation Work ;<\/h4>\n

Construction of Irrigation channel at a proper gradient, Canal head works, Regulatory work, Falls, cross drainage work, Tube well Open well, wind mill etc.\n<\/p>\n

6. Construction of Dame :<\/h4>\n

Knowledge of the different works involved in construction of dams e.g mass Concreting, concrete conveyors, tunneling etc.\n<\/p>\n

7. Construction of culverts & bridges :<\/h4>\n

8. Construction of Roads :<\/h4>\n

The construction of WBM. bitomenious, Concrete roads and should know how to provide gradient .camber super elevation inm construction of roads.\n<\/p>\n

9. Construction of Breast Wall & reating Wall :<\/h4>\n

The construction of breast wall & retaining wall of stones in construction of hill roads and provision of weep holes. be must also understand the R.C.C.retaining wall its components eg. stem, heel and their reinforcement detail & construction.\n<\/p>\n

10. Enterprenural and professional Practice:<\/h4>\n

Student should go for training under the Private Architect\/ Civil Engg Consultant \/ Private Contractor\/ Construction Agency and see the Civil Engg. performed by them.\n<\/p>\n
