The detail syllabus for workshop practices is as follows.<\/p>\n<h4>List of Experiments:<\/h4>\n<p><i>Machine Shop:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Study of machine tools in particular Lathe machine<\/li>\n<li>Demonstration of different operations on Lathe machine<\/li>\n<li>Practice of Facing, Plane Turning, step turning, taper turning, knurling and parting.<\/li>\n<li>Study of Quick return mechanism of Shaper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Fitting Shop:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of T-Shape Work piece as per the given specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of U-Shape Work piece which contains: Filing, Sawing, Drilling, Grinding.<\/li>\n<li>Practice marking operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Carpentry:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Study of Carpentry Tools, Equipment and different joints.<\/li>\n<li>Practice of Cross Half lap joint, Half lap Dovetail joint and Mortise Tenon Joint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Electrical &amp; Electronics<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to House wiring, different types of cables.
