The Cardiovascular system, Cardiovascular measurements: electrocardiography, measurement of blood pressure, measurement of blood flow and cardiac output, plethymography, measurement of heart sounds; Patient care and monitoring: elements of intensive care unit, pacemakers and defibrillators, Measurements in the respiratory system: mechanics of breathing, gas exchange and distribution, respiratory therapy equipment.<\/p>\n

Unit III<\/h4>\n

Non-invasive diagnostic instrumentation: Temperature measurements ultrasonic measurements, the nervous system and neuronal communication measurement in nervous systems, Instrumentation for sensory measurements and the study of behaviors, pshycophysiological measurements, Biotelemetry.<\/p>\n
