Industrial Training<\/h4>\n

Four weeks structured, supervised, branch specific, task
\noriented industrial\/field exposure to be organised during
\nsummer vacation after second year annual examination.
\nThe student during the vacational training must
\nundertake training in any one of the following.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Procurement of footwear material and other grinderies used for Footwear and Leather Goods Manufacture and also procurement of different synthetic materials other than leather in common use for footwear manufacture.<\/li>\n
  2. The student will gather full details regarding different sections of a footwear factory including its layout, machines used with specifications, sources of supply of spare parts, maintenance schedule etc.<\/li>\n
  3. Last manufacture, machines and different materials used namely wodden, metalic, synthetic for last manufacture.<\/li>\n
  4. Footwear manufacture operations namely component clicking, closing, bottming\/making and finishing.<\/li>\n
  5. Manufacture techniques of leather goods, (industrial\/domestic\/sports) including leather garments.<\/li>\n
  6. Testing and qulaity control of footwear and leather goods,marketing\/sales and production.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The students will work and focus their attention during the training on the following points which will be incorporated by them in their reports.<\/p>\n

        8. Work of repair and maintenance cell.<\/li>\n
        9. Details of the shops<\/li>\n
        10. Name of checking and Inspecting Instruments and their details. Quality controls measures taken.<\/li>\n
        11. Details of hadraulics\/pneumatic\/thermal units or appliances used if any.<\/li>\n
        12. Discripton of any breakdown and its restoring.<\/li>\n
        13. Use of computer – if any.<\/li>\n
        14. Visit of units store, Manner of keeping store items, Their receiving & distribution.<\/li>\n
        15. Safety measures on work place & working conditions in general – comfortable, convenient & hygeinic.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
