NOTE
After IV Sem exam, the students well go for 4 weeks
industrial training structured and supervised by
institute staff. They well prepare a report of
their work and observations in industry which will
be evaluated by external examinner for project for 60 marks (30 for Viva-Voce, 10 for Documentry work and 20 for sessional).
Field Exposure/Industrial Training
After second exam in the summer vacation students will have a four week Industrial Training. They will work and focus their attention there on following points to incorporate them in their reports.

- Joining.
- Leaving.
- Nature of Industry
- Product.
- Services.
- Working Hrs.
- Sections of the unit visited and activities there in.
- Details of machines/Tools & instruments used in working in the section of the unit visited.
- Work procedure in the section visited.
- Specifications of the product of the section and materials used.
- Work of repair and maintenance cell.
- Details of the shops (welding, Foundary, Machines shop Electrical Maintenance Shop,etc) related to repair and maintenance work.
- Name of checking and Inspecting Instruments and their details. Quality controls measures taken.
- Details of hadraulics/pneumatic/thermal units or appliances used if any.
- Discripton of any breakdown and its restoring.
- Use of computer – if any.
- Visit of units store, Manner of keeping store items, Their receiving & distribution.
- Safety measures on work place & working conditions in general – comfortable, convenient & hygeinic.
