Elements of Safety Elements of safety, safety and site selection; Plant layout and unit plot planning; Definition of riskand hazard, Identification and assessment of the hazards, distinction between hazards and risk,Industrial hygiene, toxicological studies, Hazard operability (HAZOP) hazard analysis (HAZAN); Assessment of the risk, fault tree, eventtree, scope of risk assessment; Control of hazards, controlling toxic chemicals and controllingflammable materials.
