<p><h4>Project Work:</h4>
<p>In the final year of the course, student can be divided in groups of 3 to 5 to take up a project for setting up a small scale industry	to produce glass wares, white wares, electrical insulating items,refractory bricks etc.<br />
The project report will include selection of site, market survey , list of equipments &amp; machinery, raw materials,power, human resources, and investment involved. These things be rationally determined by the basis of actual data collected during survey. They are expected to visit existing industry for the purpose.<br />
The project will also clearly mention amount of raw material wanted for 3 months working and yearly turn over and expected profit.<br />
Prepare at least a few samples of the product, intended for manufacture, at institute level for producing before the examiner.<br />
The project should have a table of the results of test and quality control of the product.<br />
There should be a brief consideration of enviornment pollution due to this unit and measures to achieve &amp; maintain the minimum permissible level of pollution.<br />
The project will be evaluated by an external examiner for 120 marks whose brakeup is as follows:<br />
Presentation on	given	project	in 10 &#8211;	15 slides</p>

<li>Viva Voce &#8211; 50	marks</li>
