<p><h4>Project Work:</h4>
<p>The project should be taken in close calleboration with the employing agencies.The project shall envolve selection, analysis and solution of special problems related to farm implement,machinary and power/soil and water engineering/ agricultureal process engineering applicable to indian conditions.<br />
The project will be assigned to individual student or to a group of students not exceeding 5 as per problem.<br />
Project will consist of:</p>
<ol>
<li>Rural Development</li>
<li>Demonstration of new techniques for the cultivation of crops,operation of agricultural machinary power tiller and tractors.</li>
<li>Problem concernig to any one of the following: To run his own workshop for repair and maintenance of agricultural implements. Levelling and Irrigation-Drainage and soil-water conservation needs of farms. To establish an agro based small scale rural industry. Any other problem concernig agriculture.</li>
<p>At the end of the project student will submit a written report of his/ their accomplishment and face a viva voce examination individually.
</ol>
</p>
<p><h4>Note:</h4>
<ol>
<li>Project periods alotted in study scheme per week shall be provided in a strech at the end of the session.</li>
<li>Two different problems shall be framed by the head of department based on local needs and application in rural areas for technological advancement (approved by/ set by Board of Technical Education ,U P, Lucnow).</li>
<li>Devices for iliminating pollution and control must be included in the project.</li>

<p>A diplima student must have the knowledge of different types of pollution caused due to industrialisation and construction activities, so as he may help in balancing of eco-system and control pollution by providing controlling measures. <li>Biodegradation and Biodegradibility, composting, bio remediation, Microbes .Use of biopesticidies and biofungicides.</li>
<li>Global warning concerns, Ozone layer depletion, Green house effect, Acid rain,etc.</li>

<li>Municipal Solid Wastes (Management and Handling) Rules, 2000.</li>
<li>The Recycled Plastics Manufacture and Usage (Amendment) rules, 2003.</li>

<p><h4>Note</h4>
<p>4 weeks structured and supervised, branch specific, task oriented<br />
industrial/field exposure to be organised after IV Semester.<br />
There will be 40 marks for this exposure and will be awarded in<br />
VI Semester during Project Viva Exam. (Sess. Marks 20 &amp; 20 in viva)<br />
Training shall be in any one of the following fields;</p>

<li>Agricultural Workshop</li>
<li>U. P. Agro Ind. Corporation</li>
<li>Tractor training &amp; testing center.</li>
</ol>
<p><h4>FIELD EXPOSURE &#8211; I</h4>
<p>The second year students after their annual exam. will<br />
have undergo a four week Industrial Exposure in a<br />
medium/small scale unit (Agricultural Workshop, U.P. Agro<br />
Industrial corporation, Tractor Training and testing<br />
centre). It will be arranged and superwised by the institute<br />
staff. They will incorporate following points in their<br />
reports.<br />
If inconvenient after annual exam, the industrial<br />
exposure can be arranged during second half of the session<br />
before the exam.</p>

<li>Inspection procedures packing storing and dispacting of products.</li>
<li>Use of computer &#8211; if any</li>
<li>Visit of units store, Manner of keeping store items, Their reciving and distribution.</li>
<li>Safety measures on work place &amp; working conditions in general comfortable, convenient and hygeinic.</li>
<li>Pollution, professional deseases and hazards if any. Precautionary measures.</li>
