D. SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT CONTROL

Awareness of restriction, airworthiness requirement and possible catastrophic effect of unapproved changes to software program.

E. SERVO MECHANISM

Understanding of following terms: open and close loop, follow up, feed back,
analogue transducers- Principle of operation and use of a following synchro system, transducer, transformer inductance & capacitance, transmitter component /features, resolver, differential- Construction operation and use of a following synchro system , transducer, transformer, inductance & capacitance, transmitter component/features,resolver,differential- Knowledge of construction, principle and operation of servomotors and rate generators; system response to displacement (position) and rate (velocity) command signals; purpose of pullup and rate feedback signals; causes of hunting and methods of damping; troubleshooting of servomechanism.
