1FY3-27& 2FY3-27: Basic Civil Engineering Lab Syllabus for Aero 2nd Sem 2019-20 Regulation RTU

Basic Civil Engineering Lab

List of Experiments:

  1. Linear Measurement by Tape:
    1. Ranging and Fixing of Survey Station along straight line and across obstacles.
    2. Laying perpendicular offset along the survey line
  2. Compass Survey: Measurement of bearing of linesusing Surveyor’s and Prismatic compass
  3. Levelling: Using Tilting/ Dumpy/ Automatic Level
    1. To determine the reduced levels in closed circuit.
    2. To carry out profile levelling and plot longitudinal and cross sections for road by Height of Instrument and Rise & Fall Method.
  4. To study and take measurements using various electronic surveying instruments like EDM, Total Station etc.
  5. To determine pH, hardness and turbidity of the given sample of water.
  6. To study various water supply Fittings.
  7. To determine the pH and total solids of the given sample of sewage.
  8. To study various Sanitary Fittings.
