Hi, everybody
Let me clear some facts, I have many juniors asking if they should pursue M.TECH from NIT PATNA.
My suggestion to you and everybody who is thinking of joining NIT PATNA is don’t even think of it.You will be wasting your two years doing so.
I have checked the students who joined M.Tech course here and you will be surprised that in Communications branch itself seats left were about 15 out of 20. Only 5 were filled which is supposed to be the top branch there. But why is it so.
Simple thing is that they have got admission in some other college. Actually speaking, it is just name NIT attached to it, other wise it is worse than private college in respect of M.TECH.
B.TECH facilities are good and placement is also good there. But if you consider M.TECH no scope there, I am warning you not to make mistake. Better join good government or state university.
I have seen my colleagues wasted their time and money in dirty PATNA, as they don’t even provide accommodation for M.TECH students.They consider them as burden.

Sir, is a b-tech E.C.E student eligible for criminology or forensic science department. If yes, then how can we do Mtech in that field. and, what are the institutes offering that courses, would there be any demand in future.
Also, if we had to do Mtech in either VLSI or EMBEDDED then which would be the best to opt for. and, what are the top universities offering these courses. How would be the demand to these courses would be in future. I heard that these are ever green courses with full demand is it true …??
