Hi,
First of all thank you for this post.
My question is Shall I get the admission in IIT Bombay full time Mtech CS course without gate. I have done my BE in Computer Engg., from govt college (L.D. College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat) and got 8.94 CGPA in 2014.I am working in TCS since last three years and try to crack GATE, but didnt crack till now. Will continue my try as loong as possible. But as year passes I want to enroll for Mtech.
Please let me know if admission witjout GATE is possible.

Sir, I am a degree holder and currently working as JE under state govt. but i am not interested in this file works and all. I want more cause my knowledge also fades as the year passes and couldnt even get a practical knowledge. I’ve been working for 2 years and this year i am thinking of gate. But with this condition of my work its very difficult to prepare. I am about to apply for gate 2018 but i was not hoping for it without miracles to happen. So my question is sir, is it worth a try for mtech without Gate or i will struggle in mtech and not able to finish it with good marks..?Or i will still have time to refresh my memories and learn new things..? I am 27years old now.. so i think i need it this year if i was to do it..

I have done BSc in Chemistry in 2003 from Mumbai university and then did MSc in Organic Chemistry in 2012 from Mumbai University. Due to financial constraints I did jobs but unfortunately these jobs have been in non chemical industries and had gaps in my education.Since 2012 I have been preparing for civil services exam and was doing part time jobs in a retail store which was also not into chemistry discipline. I now wish to do research in chemistry as I am not able to secure any chemistry related jobs. Please guide what should I do. I also have age constraints as I am 35 years of age and though I have applied to jobs in most chemical companies but they do not call me for interviews. Seems like a rejection due to such education gaps. Please guide and advice.
