  • Identify various arc welding methods, equipments and electrodes.
  • Outline gas welding and their equipments and classify resistance welding processes.
  • Define various solid state welding processes, thermal cutting and their working principles.
  • Outline welding defects and their causes, destructive and non-destructive testing of welds.
  • Choose suitable welding fixtures, estimate cost of welding.

Welding Automation and Robotics
Introduction, main components costs of welding processes, factors involved in welding costs, basic costing procedure for arc welding, basic costing procedure for gas welding, factors affecting welding costs.
