Solar Collectors
Flat Plate Solar Collectors: Construction of collector, material, selection criteria for flat plate collectors, testing of collectors, Limitation of flat plate collectors, Introduction to ETC. Concentrating type collectors: Types of concentrators, advantages, paraboloid, parabolic trough, Heliostat concentrator, Selection of various materials used in concentrating systems, tracking.
