Course Outcomes:

At the end of the course, students will demonstrate the ability to:

  2. Understand Shannons theorem for coding
  3. Calculation of channel capacity
  4. Apply coding techniques

UNIT – 1

Theory of Probability and Random Processes Concept of probability, random variables, random process, power spectral density of a random process, probability models, statistical averages, central limit theorem, correlation, linear mean square estimation
