Course Outcomes:
The students will be able to:
- Describe working of PIC 18F Microcontroller Architecture and Programming model.
- Discuss programming tools and construct software programs in assembly or C language.
- Illustrate the knowledge of operation of integrated hardware components such as (CCP) module, ECCP module. Master Synchronous Serial Port (MSSP) Module, Enhanced Universal Synchronous, Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (EUSART), Analog-To-Digital Converter (A/D) Module.
- Investigate and construct circuits for interfacing of peripheral components with PIC 18F Microcontroller.
- Design and develop sophisticated application based on PIC 18F Microcontroller such as Temperature controller, PID controller, RTC etc.
- Describe the principle of working of RTOS and related tasks.

End Semester Theory Examination:
- Question paper will comprise of 6 questions, each carrying 20 Marks.
- Total 4 questions need to be solved.
- Question No. 1 will be compulsory and based on entire syllabus wherein sub questions of 4 to 5 marks will be asked.
- Remaining questions will be mixed in nature.
