Mathematical models of chemical engineering systems: Introduction; Use of mathematical models; Scope of coverage; Principles of formulation; Fundamental laws; Contimuity equation; Energy equation; Equations of motion; Transport equations; Equations of state; Equilibrium; Chemical kinetics.
General Concepts of Simulation for Process Design: Introduction; Process simulation models; Methods for solving non-linera equations; Recycle partitioning and tearing; Simulation examples.
