Each student shall be required to submit any six jobs from the following:
- Making a job with a process plan involving plain, step and taper turning as well thread cutting as operations on a Centre lathe.
- Preparation of process planning sheet for a job including operations such as milling, drilling and shaping.
- Making a spur gear using universal dividing head on milling machine.
- Making a simple component by sand casting using a split pattern.
- Cutting of a steel plate using oxyacetylene flame cutting /plasma cutting.
- Making a butt joint on two stainless steel plates using TIG/MIG Welding.
- An experiment on shearing operation.
- An experiment on blanking operation.
- An experiment on drawing operation
