Course Outcomes:

To know the architecture of 8085 and 8051. To understand interfacing and interrupt features of 8085 and 8051. To develop program for basic applications.

UNIT 1

Architecture of 8085 Microprocessor and Programming: Functional Block Diagram, Registers, ALU, Bus systems, Timing and control signals, Machine cycles and timing diagrams. Instruction formats, Addressing modes, Instruction set, Need for Assembly language, Development of Assembly language programs. 7
