- Draw sketches /schematics of transmission systems.
- Describe the operating principles, functions, constructional details and working of transmission systems.
- Compare various configurations/subtypes of transmission systems.
- Select appropriate configuration/types for transmission system requirements in automotive applications

- Demonstration of garage, garage equipments and tools, preparation of different garage layouts.
- Demonstration of washing and greasing of vehicle.
- Engine oil change and periodic maintenance of vehicle.
- Dismantling and assembly of Clutch (light / heavy duty vehicle)
- Dismantling and assembly of Constant mesh gearbox and synchromesh gearbox.
- Dismantling and assembly of Drive line (universal joint, propeller shaft, slip joint)
- Dismantling and assembly Final drive and differential.
- Rear axle hub greasing.
- Dismantling and assembly of automatic transmission.
- Dismantling and assembly of fluid flywheel and torque converter.
