Course Outcomes:

Learner will be able to:

  • Record and display signals using CRO.
  • Convert analog data into digital form.
  • Analyse step response of a thermometer and measure temperature using various temperature transducers.
  • Measure displacement using various displacement transducers.
  • Measure pressure using a pressure transducer.
  • Measure pH of a solution using pH electrodes.

  3. To study the dynamic behaviour of thermometer system.
  4. To study the characteristics of a thermistor.
  5. To study thermistor linearization.

  9. To study principle and working of a capacitive Transducer.

Assessment:

Term Work: Term work shall consist of minimum 7 experiments. The distribution of marks for term work shall be as follows: Laboratory work (Experiments. : 10 Marks Laboratory work (Journal. : 10 Marks Attendance : 5 Marks The final certification and acceptance of term work ensures the satisfactory performance of laboratory work and minimum passing in the term work. Oral examination will be based on suggested practical list and entire syllabus.
