Surface Preparation 1.1 Classification of industrial substrates. 1.2 Chemical methods of surfaces preparation-degreasing, de-rusting, rust remover, conversion coating. 1.3 Mechanical methods of surface preparation -solvent cleaning, hand tool cleaning, power tool cleaning, flame cleaning, abrasive blasting. 1.4 Surface preparation methods and standards for industrial substrates such as ISO-8501, 8502, 8503. 1.5 Introduction and advantages of Nano based pretreatment technology.
