Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to achieve & demonstrate the following COs on completion of course based learning
- Identify different tools & application for 2D Illustration.
- Apply E- style, E- Photo studio for achieving, 2D effects on the apparel.
- Create technical flats and technical pack for various design.
- Create various texture & textile prints in fashion Studio.
- Identify the use of cut planner, style manager in fashion designing.
List of Experiments:
- Introduction to 2DFashion Designing software 1.2 Introduction to Cut planner. 1.3 Introduction to Value addition & 3D fashion software.
- Create 2DFashion illustration by using library available in fashion Studio & Develop illustration for 06 croquis.
- Design Portfolio by taking theme on currents fashion. (theme contains 6 croquis of each design)
- Create Fashion Technical flats of Practical no. 2
- Create Flats and technical pack of assignment 4.
- Design & modify the given type of Trimmings ( Laces, Buttons, net etc.)
- 7.1Create Fabric Design by scanning and importing the given fabrics ( printed, knitted, checkered ). 7.2 Develop Design Collection of 6 garments by using above.
- Create designs documents of Assignment 3 , 4 & 7.
- Develop new library of the given fabric texture, Fabric Pattern and trimmings in Fashion Studio & design collection for the same.
- Develop two patterns using pattern making & Grade it to different sizes.
- Watch the videos of latest 3D fashion design softwares,embroidery digitizing software used in fashion apparel and its applications in apparel Industry and prepare a report of same.
