Course Outcomes:

Students will be able to achieve & demonstrate the following COs on completion of course based learning

  1. Develop proportionate fashion sketches using quick sketching techniques and weight distribution.
  2. Apply Gesalt Law to design prints and textures.
  3. Analyze three dimensional fabric silhouette through live drape.
  4. Apply art movements through motifs, prints and texture on garments and accessories.
  5. Illustrate the garment inspired from Indian traditional painting.

  1. Illustrate quick sketch-female with different poses hairstyle and face features front view rear view profile view ¾ view
  2. Illustrate quick sketch-male with different poses hairstyle and face features front view rear view profile view ¾ view
  3. Illustrate quick sketch-child (boy/girl) with different poses hairstyle and face features front view rear view profile view ¾ view
  4. Illustrate and render female proportionate stylised croquie using weight distribution(Minimum two Croquie Each (S,Z,X,L)
  5. Render types of fabric texture (Minimum 2 each) Tactile texture Simulated texture Abstract texture Invented texture
  6. Draw and Render print using principles of Gestalt Law :(Minimum 2 each) Similarity Proximity Continuity Closure Focal point
  7. Live sketching for female garment -(Minimum One) (Drape-Sketch-Render) Drape on dummy – plain /printed /knit /brocade /non- woven material.(Combination of any two material) Sketch- Garment details, gathers, pleats, silhouette, folds, drape, shadow ,etc. Render-Using suitable media.

  12. Design Accessories for children (Any one) (Headgear/ Footwear) Render it using print and texture inspired from Abstract art.
  13. Design and Render any one garment for female using print/motif inspired from Victorian art/ Edwardian art / Prehistoric art. (Garment template is permissible,Inspiration can be interchanged)
  14. Design and Render any one garment for male using print/motif inspired from Medieval art/ photorealism art/Surrealism art . (Garment template is permissible, Inspiration can be interchanged)
  15. Illustrate a stylised croquie with garment inspired from Any one of the following-(IKS) Warli Painting Mandala art Painting Gond Painting Kalamkari Painting
  16. Tutorial –Make a booklet of Indian Traditional Painting Mentioned above.Study History,Motif,Color .
  17. Tutorial -Develop different stylised poses croquie templates for male female & kids (Minimum four Croquie templates).
  18. Tutorial.-Develop Mood board , inspiration board & research board on Baroque art and Romanticism art.
