Course Outcomes:

Measurement of physical quantities in Laboratory techniques 1.1 Units, physical quantities: fundamental and derived quantities and their units 1.2 Physical quantities : scalar quantities and vector quantities (vector algebra shall be omitted) 1.3 Dimensions, dimensional formula , applications of dimensional analysis , conversion factor for interconversion of units 1.4 Error and types of error : Instrumental, systematic and random error . Estimation of errors: absolute, relative and percentage error , Accuracy and precision 1.5 Ancient astronomical instruments: chakra, dhanuyatra, yasti and phalaka yantra 1.6 Measuring instruments used in medical laboratories as per IS standards
