- Measure specific gravity of pigments using Specific Gravity bottle as per IS-33.
- * Determine oil absorption of pigments by rub down method as per IS-33.
- Determine residue using 45-micron sieves as per IS-33 .
- * Measure hiding power of true pigments using Morest chart.
- Prepare pigment powder using physical method.
- Prepare pigments using chemical methods.
- * Prepare drawdown of pigment using automatic muller.
- Determine moisture content of extenders by heating method.
- Compare heat resistance of the extender pigments using oven.
- Test pH of extenders using water suspension method.
- * Compare hiding power of extenders and true pigments using Morest chart.
- * Determine reducing strength of white pigments.
- Determine acid resistance of white pigment.
- Determine alkali resistance of white pigment.
- * Determine bleeding of pigments.
