Micro Project
- Collect photographs of various manufacturing processes of non-woven fabric production and prepare a booklet detailing these processes.
- Collect ten different samples of various non-woven fabrics and prepare a catalog showing a swatch of each sample along with its technical features, such as the type of fiber used, manufacturing method and GSM (grams per square meter).
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on geo textiles, covering the following points: introduction, global usage of geo textiles, specifications of fibers and yarns used, manufacturing methods, different functions of geo textiles and applications of geo textiles.
- Collect five different samples of textile materials used in the medical area and prepare a Power Point presentation on their features, unique properties and manufacturing processes.
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on the application of medical textiles, including non-implantable materials, extracorporeal devices, implantable materials and healthcare and hygiene products.
- Collect and prepare catalogue of different samples of shade nets used in agriculture.
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on various types of technical textiles used in automobiles, detailing their functional requirements.
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on defense textiles, including information about the classification of defense textiles, specifications of fibers, yarns, and fabrics used, functional requirements and applications of defense textiles.
- Collect at least ten samples of technical fabrics (woven/knitted/non-woven) used in different technical areas and prepare a catalog. Include comments on the type of fiber used, its specifications (if any), manufacturing method and end use.
- Prepare a PowerPoint presentation on agro textiles, containing information on the types of fibers and yarns used, manufacturing methods and applications in various areas of agriculture.
