- Research different finishing techniques used with plastics (Filing, Tumbling, Grinding, Ashing, Buffing, Polishing). Write a report on each technique, detailing, the process involved, equipment used, advantages and disadvantages of each technique, Include diagrams or images to illustrate the processes.

- Collect information of hot plate welding, and ultrasonic welding machine manufacturers and suppliers while working in a group of five students. Write a report on collected information which include grades, rates, minimum quantity, bulk discounts, taxes, delivery period etc.
- Visit a nearby screen printing company and collect information on registration procedure of company, plant layout, machinery specifications and price, electrical load, manpower requirement, rate list, annual turnover, major clients and terms and conditions. Make a report of it and present it in classroom.
