Course Outcomes:

Ground Water Resources Development and Utilization 1.1 The Hydrological cycle and Types of water bearing formation 1.2 Occurrence and movement of ground water, origin and age of groundwater (IKS*: Cultural importance of groundwater including any spiritual or communal aspects). 1.3 Aquifer and its types. 1.4 Aquifer characteristics influencing well yields: Rock properties affecting groundwater, important definitions, hydraulic conductivity, transmissibility, coefficient of storage, specific yield, hydraulic resistance and leakage factor.
