Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to achieve & demonstrate the following COs on completion of course based learning
- Use Speed frame machine to produce roving from the draw frame sliver.
- Apply mechanism of roving build to achieve proper winding of rove on the roving bobbin.
- Use Ring frame machine to produce yarn from the roving.
- Apply mechanism of cop build to achieve proper winding of yarn on the ring bobbin.
- Use monitoring systems of ring frame to monitor and control the production as well as the quality o yarn.

Speed Frame process 1.1 Objectives of speed frame, Operating Principle, Concepts of drafting, twisting and winding process. 1.2 Operating Zones: Creel, Drafting arrangement, aprons, condensers, suction tube, false twister, spindle & flyer assembly. 1.3 Monitoring devices: Need for such devices, Sliver stop motion, Roving stop motion, Sliver Data. 1.4 Blower Apparatus (OHTC), Concept of block creeling.

Ring Frame process 3.1 Objectives of speed frame, Operating principle, Concepts of drafting, twisting and winding process.
