Course Outcomes:

Students will be able to achieve & demonstrate the following COs on completion of course based learning

  1. Develop the fancy woven structure using conventional dobbies.
  2. Apply modern dobby principles to create given fabric designs.
  3. Use a conventional jacquard mechanism to produce complex woven fabric designs.

Types of dobbies and their construction and working principles- Double lift double jack (Keighley dobby), wooden peg lattice (IKS) 1.2 Introduction to peg lattice, method of pegging for right- and left-hand dobby.
