  • Micro projects on Preparing feasibility report and present it in the PPT format (Group of max 3 students) fo employing renewable energy system for any given situation where fossil fuels are used. Following guidelines m followed.
  • Visit different industrial or household situations to assess energy needs.
  • Estimate the annual energy requirements using surveys and questionnaires.
  • Choose suitable renewable energy technology based on local resource availability.
  • Estimate the budget for system installation using market prices and installation costs.
  • Prepare a model of solar charger/Solar car/Solar fan/Solar torch/Solar cooler/Solar street light etc.
  • Present PPT and submit a detailed report on horizontal axis wind mill or to visit a nearest wind farm.
  • Present PPT and submit a detailed report on the visited biogas plant or biomass plant.
  • Prepare the feasibility report, incorporating financial metrics like Return on Investment (ROI) and payback
  • Prepare small working models of already existing/improved/new Horizontal/vertical wind turbine, Flat plat collector used for domestic water heating application and used for process heating in commercial /industrial organization, Stand-alone solar photovoltaic lighting plant, Grid connected wind mill plant, Hybrid plants, Win PV hybrid system, Smokeless Chulhas, Burners, Heaters and Engines, Bio-gas plant.
  • To prepare a Report the most suitable types of solar lighting systems based on efficiency, cost, and environ impact for a small colony or your institute campus.
