The detailed syllabus of farm machinery and construction equipment lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To select proper tools and equipment for servicing of tractors and construction equipment<\/li>\n<li>To identify various farm machinery, earth moving machinery and construction equipment<\/li>\n<li>To perform servicing of various farm machinery, earth moving machinery and construction equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Apply the procedure of servicing agriculture tractor<\/li>\n<li>Apply the procedure of fitting and adjustments of implements like plough, cultivator and power take off unit.<\/li>\n<li>Identify various systems and sub systems of earth moving machinery<\/li>\n<li>Make use of operation of various systems and sub systems of earth moving machinery<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate the general layout, power transmission layout and operation of tractor.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the procedure of overhauling tractor hydraulic system, pump control valve and remote cylinder.<\/li>\n<li>Plan the preventive maintenance schedule of tractor<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate the working of implements like plough, cultivator and power take off (p.t.o)unit<\/li>\n<li>Apply the procedure of Fitting and adjustment of implements like plough, cultivator and p.t.o. unit<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate the general layout of various earth moving machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the procedure of servicing of earth moving machinery<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate the general layout of various construction equipment<\/li>\n<li>Apply the procedure of servicing of construction equipment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Suggested Open Ended Projects<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3.
