The detailed syllabus of mechatronics and automation lab is as follows.<\/p>\n<h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Measuring of physical quantity (i) Velocity (ii) direction and (iii) force of single and double acting actuators also the operation of signal conditioning circuits.<\/li>\n<li>Applying a suitable sensor and image processing technique for Mechatronics systems.<\/li>\n<li>Design appropriate circuits to automate and control the hydraulic, pneumatic and electric actuators.<\/li>\n<li>Apply PLC, PID and 8085 microcontrollers as a control unit Mechatronics system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Tools and Equipment<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Basic Pneumatic Trainer Kit with manual and electrical controls\/PLC Control &#8211; 1 each<\/li>\n<li>Basic Hydraulic Trainer Kit &#8211; 1 No.<\/li>\n<li>Hydraulics and Pneumatics Systems Simulation Software&#8217;s &#8211; 10 sets.<\/li>\n<li>8051 &#8211; Microcontroller kit with stepper motor and drive circuit &#8211; DC drives.<\/li>\n<li>Computerized data logging system with control for process variables like pressure flow and temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Servo controller interfacing for DC motor<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Design of circuits with logic sequence using Electro pneumatic trainer kits.<\/li>\n<li>Simulation of basic Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electric circuits using software.<\/li>\n<li>Modeling and analysis of basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Using appropriate softwares.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>PID controller interfacing<\/li>\n<li>Circuits with multiple cylinder sequences in Electro pneumatic using PLC<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Module 5:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Simulation of basic Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electric circuits using software. 5 Applying<\/li>\n<li>Modeling and analysis of basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Using appropriate softwares. 5 Applying<\/li>\n<li>Lab Exam II 1.5<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\">For detailed syllabus of all other subjects of Automation &amp;
