The detailed syllabus of iot and applications lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To introduce the raspberry PI platform, that is widely used in IoT applications<\/li>\n<li>To introduce various cloud platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Tools and Equipment<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Processors: Intel AtomR processor or IntelR Core\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 i3 processor.<\/li>\n<li>Disk space: 1 GB.<\/li>\n<li>Operating systems: Windows 7 or later, macOS, and Linux.<\/li>\n<li>Software: PyCharm, Arduino IDE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To use microcontroller based embedded platforms in IOT<\/li>\n<li>To introduce the raspberry PI platform, that is widely used in IoT applications<\/li>\n<li>To use wireless peripherals for exchange of data<\/li>\n<li>To make use of Cloud platform to upload and analyze any sensor data<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Calculate temperature using a temperature sensor.<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing Arduino to Zigbee module<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing Arduino to GSM module<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing Arduino to Bluetooth Module<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarize with raspberry PI board and Raspbian OS<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Raspberry PI platform and python programming<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing sensors to Raspberry PI<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Communicate between Arduino and Raspberry PI using Bluetooth<\/li>\n<li>Communicate between Arduino and Raspberry PI using wifi<\/li>\n<li>Communicate between Arduino and Raspberry PI using Zigbee<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Setup a cloud platform to log the data.<\/li>\n<li>Log Data using Raspberry PI and upload to the cloud platform<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Text Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Internet of Things &#8211;
