The detailed syllabus of rpi tool familiarization lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide hands on experiments with the basic concepts of Robotic Process Automation Tools.<\/li>\n<li>To learn how to install Blue prism Community Edition.<\/li>\n<li>To Develop Bots using Blue prism.<\/li>\n<li>To learn how to install Automation Anywhere Community Edition.<\/li>\n<li>To Develop Bots using Automation Anywhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Installation and Familiarization of Blue prism Community Edition tool<\/li>\n<li>Develop bots using Data item, Calculation stage and multi calculation stage in Blue prism<\/li>\n<li>Installation and Familiarization of Automation Anywhere Community Edition tool<\/li>\n<li>Develop bots using commands like mouse click, String operations, Excel automation, OCR.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Installation of Blue prism Community Edition<\/li>\n<li>Familiarization of the Blue prism User Interface components- Home, Studio, Control.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarization of the Blue prism Interface components- Analytics, Releases, Digital Exchange, System.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a simple process in Blue prism.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an automation using Data item and calculation stage- Calculate the sum of two numbers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an automation using Multi Calculation stage- Perform the operations addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Installation of Automation Anywhere Community Edition<\/li>\n<li>Familiarization of Automation Anywhere Interface components- Menu bar, Tool bar, Automate &amp; Manage bar.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarization of Automation Anywhere Commands<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop an automation using mouse click command- Automate task of clicking at a special position on the application.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an automation using the String Operations command in Automation Anywhere- Task for comparing two strings, Task for replacing a substring from a string.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an automation using excel automation command- Extract data from an excel file according to some condition and save in another file.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an automation using OCR command- Extract text from an image or a window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Micro Project<\/h4>\n<p>Students are expected to do a micro project using Blue prism or Automation Anywhere tool during the course for the purpose of continuous evaluation.
