The detailed syllabus of data structures lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide hands-on experience on developing elementary data structures.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the applications of data structures in developing efficient algorithms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Construct Stack and Queue using array and apply it to solve problems using C.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Linked List operations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs to implement Binary Search Tree and perform the basic operations.<\/li>\n<li>Apply Traversal Algorithms on Graphs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement Stack using array.<\/li>\n<li>Develop simple applications using stack<\/li>\n<li>Implement infix to postfix conversion and evaluation of a postfix expression<\/li>\n<li>Implement Queue using array.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement Linked List operations &#8211; insertion, deletion, searching, etc<\/li>\n<li>Construct Stack using Linked List.<\/li>\n<li>Construct Queue using Linked List.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a Binary Search Tree using Linked List.<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs to perform the various traversals in a Binary Search Tree.<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs to perform deletion of a node in a Binary Search Tree.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement the Depth first search Traversal and Breadth first search Traversal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Open Ended Experiments<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<p><i>Suggested Open Ended Experiments<\/i><br \/>\n(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3.
