The detailed syllabus of cad lab i is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide hands on training on 2D drawing using AutoCAD software.<\/li>\n<li>To equip the student to be competent in industries for creation and modification of 2D drawings.<\/li>\n<li>To create an easy platform for students in mastering AutoCAD &#8211; 3D.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Explain computer aided drafting and various commands used in AutoCAD<\/li>\n<li>Draw 2D drawings and sectional views in AutoCAD<\/li>\n<li>Perform dimensioning and plotting in AutoCAD<\/li>\n<li>Develop Isometric drawings of simple objects in AutoCAD<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Comprehend Computer Aided Drafting: Applications &#8211; Advantages over manual drafting &#8211; Hard ware &amp; Soft ware requirements &#8211; Different software &#8211; Auto CAD &#8211; Revit, 3DS MAX, Pro E &#8211; IDEAS and Open Source drafting software etc. 1.5\tUnderstanding<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize AutoCAD basics &#8211; main menu, starting a new drawing, open, save, exit, entering commands using mouse, pull down menu, getting help, data entry, entity selection.
