The detailed syllabus of refrigeration and air conditioning lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To impart technical skill for dismantling, servicing and assembling of refrigeration and air conditioning equipments<\/li>\n<li>To Familiarize with different refrigeration test rigs and conduct various performance tests<\/li>\n<li>To impart technical skills for dismantling, servicing and assembling of various types of compressor, condenser, expansion device, evaporator etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Identify the parts of a Vapour Compression refrigeration system and perform general servicing and maintenance\t3\tApplying<\/li>\n<li>Apply technical skills in dismantling, servicing and assembling of various types of compressor, condenser, expansion device and evaporator including evacuation, gas charging etc.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize with different refrigeration test rigs and conduct various performance tests<\/li>\n<li>Apply technical skills in dismantling, servicing and assembling of various refrigeration equipment like the air conditioner, water cooler, deep freezer etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<p>Identify the parts and working of the domestic refrigerator window air conditioner etc. Carry out general servicing like filter removal and cleaning of the air conditioner etc.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<p>Study the working and perform dismantling, service andassembling of various types of compressor, condenser, expansion device and evaporator.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<p>Study the arrangement and working of various test rigs andconduct performance tests in the setup of VC refrigeration test rig, cold storage, air conditioner test rig etc.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<p>Study the working of various types of air conditioners, water coolers and deep freezers.
