The detailed syllabus of analog circuits lab for instrumentation is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide experience on constructing CE and CC amplifiers.<\/li>\n<li>To provide experience on building various oscillator circuits.<\/li>\n<li>To design various application circuits of Operational Amplifier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Construct amplifier in CE and CC configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Build various oscillator circuits<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement linear circuits using operational amplifier\t1<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement non-linear circuits using operational amplifier<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Construct a single stage RC Coupled CE amplifier, observe its phase difference between input and output waveforms, and plot its frequency response.<\/li>\n<li>Construct an emitter follower circuit and measure its gain.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Build an RC phase shift oscillator<\/li>\n<li>Build a Colpitt&#8217;s oscillator<\/li>\n<li>Construct a BJT astable multivibrator and plot the waveforms at base and collector of transistor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Determine Operational Amplifier parameters: input bias current, input offset voltage, output offset voltage, CMRR and slew rate.<\/li>\n<li>Design and set up an inverting and non-inverting amplifier using Op- amp<\/li>\n<li>Design and set up integrator and differentiator circuit using Op amp<\/li>\n<li>Design and set up current to voltage and voltage to current converter using Op amp<\/li>\n<li>Design an adder and subtractor using Op amp<\/li>\n<li>Design an instrumentation amplifier and find the CMRR.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Design and set up Schmitt trigger circuit using Op amp.<\/li>\n<li>Set up a Precision rectifier using Op amp.<\/li>\n<li>Design and set up various clipping circuits using Op amp.<\/li>\n<li>Design and set up various clamping circuits using Op amp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Reference Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>David Buchla, Lab Manual for Electronics Fundamentals and Electronic Circuits Fundamentals, Pearson College Publisher.<\/li>\n<li>James M Fiore, Operational Amplifiers &amp; Linear Integrated Circuits: Theory and Application Laboratory Manual\/3E, Delmar, Thomson Learning Publisher.<\/li>\n<li>Lab Manual Vol. I &#8211; K.
